R. Hardwin Mead, M.D.

Dr. Hardwin attended Stanford Medical School and did his medicine and cardiology training at Stanford University Hospital. Since 1984 he has practiced cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology, being co-director of the Electrophysiology Lab and Cardiac Surveillance Unit at Sequoia Hospital, Redwood City, CA. He also serves as Chief of the Cardiovascular Section at Sequoia. Dr. Mead is a frequent participant in investigational trials and has a particular focus of implantable devices and cardiac ablative therapies. He currently serves on a Physician Advisory Boards for Medtronic and BioCardia.
