The Morph™ product line is already becoming important for treating serious vascular disease where precision and control for local device and therapeutic intervention are important.” Morph TM catheters are based on micro machined nitinol shaft technology to provide control and precision. BioCardia's 8 French Morph™ product has been used with success in more than 500 cases in: renal arteries, AAA graft implantations, iliac artery, femoral artery, celiac artery, superior mesenteric arteries, lumbar artery coiling, coronary arteries, cardiac chambers, carotid arteries access, and other applications. The 6 French Morph™ expands the deflectable guide catheter technology into a size suitable for interventional cardiology. It behaves nearly identically to the 8 French device, but has the advantages of being significantly smaller and being compatible with a significantly smaller sheath introducer. The new 6 French device has a 4 French inner lumen size and its distal tip can be curved up to 180 degrees by the physician during a procedure.
